So Thankful...
Hello and welcome to my blog. I am sorry that I haven't posted in awhile, we are trying our best to keep everyone updated as to the events of the campaign and I promise we will be posting more often.
To get up to date, let me recap the last few weeks.
1. Our petition forms are completed! Yes, we were able to turn in all of the necessary forms and to get the letter of completion signed by Mr. Campbell. What a great feeling it was to be completely finished, and all of the thanks goes to you!!! There are no words to tell you how much it means to me for those who signed the form, those who took time to pass out the forms. All I can say is Thank You from the bottom of my heart!
2. I have gotten to meet so many new and wonderful people! Over the past few days and weeks, I have been blessed to receive phone calls, visits and even impromptu meetings with the great people of Highlands County. Everyone has been so pleasant and nice! I appreciate every word of encouragement and advice. Wow, is the word that comes to mind when I think of you!
3. We have had donations made to the campaign! Thank you, Thank you for those who have came forward and given so unselfishly of your time and resources to help make this campaign the success that I know it will be! I wish there was enough words in our English language to express my deep gratitude for your faith in me!
4. We have started to plan events! Last Friday and Saturday we spent time in Avon Park at the Springtime on the Mall event. It was a pleasure to meet and greet so many wonderful people. We had balloons for the children, some things to hand out to the adults and smiles and waves for everyone. Thanks for stopping by the booth, for all your kindness and special tips for running successfully! We have more dates on the books for speaking engagements and also for meet the candidate events. I will be sure to let you know so that you can all come out and support your favorite Candidate, ME!
